Welcome! These Terms of Use ("Terms") explain your rights and responsibilities when using the GelForge mobile app and website. By using GelForge, you’re agreeing to these terms—so let’s keep things fair and transparent.

1. Who We Are

GelForge is a mobile app and web platform created for endurance athletes who want affordable, customizable fueling options. We get it—store-bought gels can be expensive and full of ingredients you don’t need. With GelForge, you can build your own energy gels using real ingredients and evidence-based nutrition tools, tailored to your goals and your budget.

2. What You Can Do

  • Create and save personalized gel recipes
  • Calculate nutrition breakdowns for your ingredients
  • Browse, remix, and share community blends
  • Use the app and website for your own training, racing, and nutritional planning

Basically, if you’re an athlete looking to fuel smarter without overpaying—you’re in the right place.

3. What You Can’t Do

  • Share your login or access with others
  • Copy, scrape, or redistribute app or website content
  • Reverse-engineer, modify, or resell the GelForge app or code
  • Use GelForge to promote unsafe or misleading information
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We may suspend your access if these rules are broken. But you’re cool—so we don’t expect that.

4. Paid Features & Subscriptions

GelForge offers both a free tier and paid tiers (Advanced and Pro) with extra features like advanced nutrition analytics, unlimited recipe storage, and AI-powered tools. You can compare the tiers at gelforge.com/tiers.

Subscription Terms

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Billing: Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and upon each renewal.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled according to App Store and Google Play policies. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
  • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect.

By subscribing, you agree to these terms and authorize recurring charges to your payment method. All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and their respective terms and policies apply.

5. Content Ownership & Sharing

You own the recipes you create. If you choose to share them publicly, you’re giving us permission to display and feature them in the app and website so others can learn from your blend. We won’t sell your content or claim it as ours.

6. Privacy & Data

We take privacy seriously. We only collect data we need to keep GelForge running smoothly and securely. We don’t sell your information. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All branding, design, and functionality in GelForge is protected and belongs to us. Using GelForge doesn’t give you ownership over the app, website, or any associated tools or code.

8. Disclaimers

GelForge provides tools and content to support your fueling decisions, but we don’t provide medical or nutritional advice. The information on the app, website, and Science page is for educational use only and is not a substitute for professional guidance.

We do our best to keep everything accurate and helpful, but we can’t guarantee it’ll always be perfect or suitable for everyone. Use GelForge at your own risk—and always consult a healthcare professional if you’re unsure.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any legal disputes will be handled in accordance with that jurisdiction.
